Hallel: (Heb. "praise") (good job, anonymous!) A term for Psalms 113-118 (and more generally to other groups in Psalms 104-150), sung during major Jewish festivals (good job, Daniel!) as expressions of praise to God. The term "hallelujah" occurs throughout.
