Wooohooo!!!!!! Derek Webb live October 19th at Yreka Christian Fellowship.
What is this fixation with white I keep hearing about? Did he have a bad experience regarding colors as a child? Maybe he didn't dress well as a child and decided to wear white. Or maybe it's symbolic, like Jesus making us white. Or maybe he has a genetic disorder.
Guess what? Derek Webb just came to TMC a few days ago; he and Sarah performed in our very own gym... and my friend and I grabbed some great, open, visual-friendly seats! His wife opened, he then helped her, and after that it was all Derek and his 12-string (occasionally his 6-string)... he is an amazing guitar player! Anyway, I thought that was funny. He said a few weird things that I wasn't sure about, but I still have a great deal of respect for the man. Great heart, great artist, good soteriology! : )
That sounds just about how the concert went here. There were only about 50 people. Very intimate and personal. I can't believe the sounds his 12-string can let out! Man, he's awesome! That's cool, I could have had him say hi to you for me...Interesting...there were some things he said that sounded a little weird too, wonder if they follow the same trend???

What a fan! You are! To be there now!
Not technically "there." ;) More like in spirit or in my dreams...
I he bald because he is old, or does he choose to wear it that way? Or maybe he has some genetic disorder.
Why don't you ask him on Wednesday?
